Financial System Development and Management

Setting up the court’s financial system can be challenging due to not knowing what financial matters to expect in a developing court. Once the financial system is set up, skills are needed to manage multiple court budgets and create financial goals that impact the court’s operations for the future.  This session is for court personnel who are setting up the court’s financial system and are seeking skills in management and financial goal planning.

Objectives

• Explain the areas of the court’s financial system
• Identify financial authorities and regulations
• Learn tips on setting up and organizing the court financial system
• Discuss general key financial forms to have in place
• Learn tips on managing the financial system (includes court budgets) and creating financial goals
