The Tribal Court Leadership Training Series for Court Clerks offers training to assist court clerks develop and enhance their skills at all levels of their career. To address these levels, the Training Series is divided into three levels.
Trainings are created at a shorter length to accommodate busy schedules. Court clerks can register in any court clerk training without any pre-requirements. All training will be recorded.
This Training Series is designed and open to current tribal court clerks and current tribal court administrators who share clerk duties.
Level 1 presents a general introduction and overview on tribal court education and provides essential skills that can be applied immediately.
Certificate – A certificate is available upon the completion of all trainings listed in Level 1
Level 2 provides a more in-depth view on critical areas of tribal court education.
Level 3 promotes career advancement in the court by offering trainings on leadership and management.
REGISTRATION POLICY FOR WEB TRAININGS
The Field of Tribal Courts reserves the right to deny service to anyone or any entity. Registrations are required to be submitted at least 1 day before the scheduled web training. Registrants must create an online login account, pay for the web training at least 1 day before the training, and receive a confirmation email in order to be officially registered in the web training. After registrants are confirmed, registrants will be notified when instruction materials will be electronically distributed.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR WEB TRAININGS
Cancellation requests for a full refund must be made at least 1 day before the scheduled web training date. The Field of Tribal Courts reserves the right to cancel and reschedule a training if there is a power outage in California, earthquake, fire, pandemic, any other natural disaster, or if the instructor needs to cancel due to a family emergency. The training will be rescheduled and a credit for each enrolled registrant will be issued.
